I wonder if this means that they intend to release a new browser with a "view my avatar" function?
I haven't seen any mention of this on their forum pages.
Personally, I would like to see this function added in a mult-user environment. |

The only real information was in that press release and in the www-vrml list annoucement.
note the "Flux Worlds will be available to testers this spring." in the press release.
Tony said in a www-vrml post that the server is too unstable for anything besides a simple demo. Lots of bugs and missing features at the moment. I figure we'll have a finished version by the end of the year.
Just how this server works with flux is another mystery at the moment. But there is a plan to release documentation explaining how the protocols etc work. |
