|
|
I know there are a lot of people out there that still use Blaxxun
because it doesn't have a logo. However, to use ABNet you need
to run the BS Contact version. You can use install both and switch
between them depending on what you are doing. The key is to
install Blaxxun Contact first then install Bitmanagement Contact.
Once they are installed in the default directories,
you can simply switch between the two:
First, close all your Microsoft Internet Explorer windows.
To switch to BS Contact copy the following line into
the input box after you select "Start" then "Run..."
from the Windows task bar:
"C:\Program Files\Bitmanagement Software\BS Contact VRML X3D\BS_Register.exe"
To switch to Blaxxun Contact run this:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\blaxxun Contact\blaxxuncc3d.ocx"
Note: You need to copy the quotes because of the spaces in the file name.
Another way to do this is to create desktop links to these to command.
That way all you do is just double click the appropritate icon.

Rick-
Do you have a command that would allow a quick switch to Flux Player? Or, would this be too many 3D environments on one computer? |

Actually, it is really simple. When you install the Flux player
there is a program menu item under the "Media Machines, Inc"
entry that says:
"Register Flux as Default X3D Player"
Just click that menu item and it setup Flux as your default player.

It seems that youpien site is closed now, but this utility can still be found at web.archive.org:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://youpien.free.fr/Setup 3D Viewer v2.0.0.zip
(note: don't click the link above, paste the complete address in the browser) |
