For once I've found a bug I know the real cause of.
In the room list in the ABNet2 client, are the odd room which only shows one user in it. But the vrmlworld.net front page shows nothing.
The cause is one of two things
1. this was the last world with anyone in it, and hence the server hasn't removed the user properly.
2. the url for the .wrl/.x3d file is invalid (404) and hence the client never finishes connecting properly. It stalls at "loading world", and then doesn't drop the connection when you leave. |
