In my quest to set up an AbNet server, I tried installing BSContact7.2 on my nice clean box with updated Windows XP and IE7 installed (tried both the automatic and manual methods). IE does not recognise the plugin.

Running BSRegister produces an error essentially telling me that it can't find BSContact.

It's been awhile - have I forgotten something?

Griff i know that Vcard had it installed to try it out. I think he may be able to shed some light on this but as far as I know, BS Contact 7.2 is still in beta and not an official release. Vcard did say it had some rather cool functions but it is not error free yet.

Yes, 7.2 has some issues and is not officially launched. Some of the 7.2 test cases are not yet completed and working (some files are missing on the demos).

It worked with me and seems we are getting new cool features like shadows (not tested, the demos are unfinished) and side ladder (works pretty well) among other, but I felt a few problems too and some instability. They will probably have another version at the official launch. I am back to 7.1 for the moment.

Some odd problems with 7.2 (I've played with the release candidate versions), generally it works, but throws some odd errors. Things about missing functions and bad characters in UTF8 encoded files (eg french language characters).
