1 : it is possible to make a web server (not working on pc)
2 : it is possible to have list connected people?

I'm not sure what you mean by this. I used to have an integrated web server that was part of my older software. I took it out because no one used it. If you mean that you want to use the chat server on your pc and use a web server someplace else yes this is possible.
Please explain what you mean.

Yes, a list of connected people is possible. The information is sent
from the server. The current user interface doesn't create a visible view of
it though. I'll probably put this in the next version of the user interface.

Again I'm not sure what you mean by that. Do you mean you want a
cgi based chat? Yah sure there are many of them. Is this what you are
asking?

Hi rick
thx for ypur answere and excuse me for my slanglish i'm french
So in first i will try to explain my project:
i have made 2 modules 3dchats for xoops community
the first 3dchat have only a world with a simply javascript chat without server ,the nickname is calling by cms with variable $xoopsuser (this a version for people who have limited bandwith or data base query) and possiblity to switch on abnet 2 server
the second 3dchat have a world and chat and webserver (if is possible)
what i need is trhee colonn :chat with smyles (calling smileys from cms),people online (possibilty to calling by cms "$onlineusers"),and the function button light ,fliying ,hello, ect... 'i have some fonction with pics hole on blaxxun community if you need)

Yes nice initiative ,the best is to create 3 bloks ,chat ,online user ,and button for gestures and fonction like fliyng ,light ,"face a face" ect ... ,i have some function in js if you need with img

yes i mean that,but the convertation must be writing in txt file and name in cms ,also where is normally input nickname ,just replace by "$username" for calling php function

The web server was part of the VNet+ code base. I don't have that
online anywhere. You can probably find it on the net somewhere.
As far as cgi based chat. I don't really have any interest in them. |
