But I thought vrmlworld.net worlds are all using Contact? At least that's what I perceived from thr URL paths. Has anyone ever tried using 2 Flux stations?

your server or with vrmlworld.net.

No, vrmlworld.net can run both Flux and Contact.
If you search through my blog you will see a picture of my computer
using both Contact and Flux connecting to the same world.

One of the problems I encountered with the Flux player is its
lack of async x3d url loading. This causes ABNet to block
when it loads an avatar. Maybe the best thing to do would
be to use AJAX to load the avatar and then make the
createX3DFromURL.
Anyone want to try implementing this?
Just find the loadAV function use in fluxax.html and change it.

This is beyond me. I've only started using Flux Studio to create simple .X3d worlds and loading them up to the 'www' folder of my temporary server to test out the chatting. Is there a good source of information on scripting stuffs for controlling objects in the .X3d world? Think the documentations at "www.web3d.org"
is good enough?

Lately, I've been testing 2 stations using Contact, no problem at all. Does Contact support movie as texture? I'm asking because when I use Contact to view an X3d file with object containing movie as texture, I managed to get the audio without the video. If I use a single station Flux , the video and audio plays fine. Any one got any comments?

I haven't tried movie textures. You might want to ask
your question at http://x79.net/forums/
